On 19 and 20 September 2022, the Deir Jarir village council informed three of its residents that Israeli settlers had vandalized a 20-meter-long fence encircling part of their land and thrown stones into the shared water cistern. The settlers had also let a flock graze in the groves, damaging dozens of 10-year-old trees.
