Sadat a-Tha’lah, South Hebron Hills: Settlers cut down 30 olive trees

On Friday, 28 October 2022, Jamil Zein (63) from Sadat a-Tha'lah arrived at his olive grove, which lies northwest of the community, and discovered that settlers had cut down 30 of the 100 trees he planted there about a year ago. Zein summoned the police, who took photos of the damage and suggested he file a complaint at the Kiryat Arba police station. He went to the police station but the officers refused to log his complaint, saying there was no one there who spoke Arabic, and ordered him to come back another day.
