On the morning of 18 October 2021, Sa’id Abu ‘Alia (61) came to his land on the first harvest day the military had allotted him. Upon arrival, he discovered that settlers had dug a dirt path through his grove and installed poles and cameras along it. This included razing and uprooting 35 40-year-old olive trees. The settlement outpost of ‘Adei Ad was established about 200 meters from the grove.
