A-Lubban a-Sharqiyah, Nablus district: Settlers destroy farmland with bulldozers

On 7 October 2021, at around 8:00 A.M., about 10 settlers came with bulldozers to land north of the town and performed work on residents’ farmland. Several dozen residents arrived to defend their land. At the same time, about 20 soldiers arrived and  began firing rubber-coated metal bullets and hurling stun grenades at the residents.  

One of the soldiers attacked town resident Wael ‘Awis (50), hitting him in the head with his rifle butt and injuring him. Four other residents were injured lightly by the “rubber” bullets. The wounded ‘Awis was detained by the military for two hours and then taken by military ambulance to the Ariel police station.
