Kafr Ni’ma, Ramallah District: Setters harass picnicking family and falsely accuse them

On 27 August 2021, at around 5:00 P.M., a family from Kafr Ni’ma were picnicking on their land north of the village. While they were enjoying their meal, two settlers on an ATV arrived and began harassing and taunting them. One of the settlers filmed the women, who were without head scarves, and insisted on violating their privacy even after a family member explained it was unacceptable. The settlers summoned soldiers to the scene and claimed that one of the family members had attacked them. After an argument, the soldiers began to drive the settlers away and eventually left the area themselves.
