‘Asirah al-Qibliyah, Nablus District: Settlers stone home; soldiers fire tear gas at them and at residents who came out to defend it

On Saturday, 6 February 2021, about 10 settlers arrived at the southeastern side of the village. They stoned the ‘Abed al-Basset family home, which they had already attacked in October 2020. The family called village residents for help, any they came out and blocked the settlers’ way in order to prevent them from advancing further into the village. Several soldiers came to the scene and dispersed the crowd with tear gas. The settlers fled towards the settlement of Yitzhar, which was established about 500 meters from the neighborhood, and the residents fled back to their homes due to the tear gas.
